I'm waiting for my Edelbrock# 2114 intake to arrive and tune it with the TunerCat. I'm more
anxious than all of you are to get it started. PEACE>Tony

Re: Project "TURBONOMA" begins

You wil like the edelbrock intake it made a big hp difference on Jay's truck. It really does well higher in the RPM's were the stock falls on its face from the bottle neck.

Keep up the good work Tony.

Tony. when you test install those. keep an eye on the little breather baffle thingys inside. i had to bend mine on the egdes, just a little, to keep them from hitting the rockers. and you have to slide them around before tightening them down, again, to keep the baffles from hitting the rockers.

Re: Project "TURBONOMA" begins

Thanks Jess and TJ for keeping an eye on me. It helps me alot to know you take the time to
make positive remarks on what I'm doing. Building this project on my own is a labor of love
because I don't have anyone to help me out. Sometimes I feel frustrated when things get
bogged down, but then I come on here and get encouraging comments that make me want
to continue. My thanks also to my buddy Sam(Mr. Corona). PEACE>Tony

Re: Project "TURBONOMA" begins

Due to the......... unwavering ability to fall thru that the S-10 crowd shows, I've decided not to make any more. I believe AFI is offering them.
I was planning on a setup like Tony's to run $1500-$1750 depending on injectors and regulator needs. Not sure about AFI's pricing.
I will be offing what I have left over on the eBay soon.

Re: Project "TURBONOMA" begins

Not really the place to chat about it...

I figure anyone serious can email me at gotswrv@hotmail.com, that really helps with keeping all the different user names at bay. I'm not apposed to doing work if a good part of my cost are payed upfront. I cannot afford to continue to do what is very much one off work, and a hobby to me, and then have it all just set, me out of pocket.

Right now I have a t3/t4 hybrid turbo from Innovative Turbo's that came with the Mach Perf. kit.
I'll be running that with the stock intake manifold while I get it running and do some inicial
tunning. My future plans are to use the Edelbrock modded intake along with a Turbonetics 62-1 / ar = .81 t4 that I already have on hand. It should take me to my goal of 500hp. PEACE>Tony

Ricks bonnet is not like Tony's. You'll see soon enough.

Glad you liked the emblems. I've been tinkering every now and then with that idea.

Re: Project "TURBONOMA" update

I have added the final piece of the puzzle to this project. In order to make sure I don't blow up
the engine I purchased a progressive controller alky kit. I've invested too much time and $$$
into this to have it go up in smoke. Should be firing it up within the next few weeks. Better
late than never. PEACE>Tony

Tony, where did you go about ordering the head gasket...
I found the PN: HG32680HT , but they dont have any dealers on their website, when I called them they gave me a number to KOI and they said that they do not offer ROL gaskets.

Re: Project "TURBONOMA" begins

Just finished installing my alky kit along with the pressure guage. Also got a new air filter cause the K&N unit was too long for the space intended. It's the new AEM DryFlow filter.
Unlike the K&N, it doesn't use an oil impregnated element. PEACE>Tony
