Re: Ordered wynjammer

Al should send you a seperate pcm programmed for the blower that you'll swap out. Even with the new pcm nothing beats a professional dyno tune on top. All trucks are different and I had mine dyno tuned. The drivability after was day and night. Plus you'll be assured everything IS running and mixing safely. I also bought some thicker silicone elbows and etc to replace the ones that come with Al's kit since his are a little cheaper which he does to keep the cost of the kit down. I blew a hole through one so I had to replace but that's up to you, not completely necessary. Get your new plugs, wires in and blaster coil from MSD. Then an electric fan and you should be set. Flex-a-lite should make a direct bolt up for yours that runs around $250. It's also not a bad idea to have a back up belt. Congrats, wynjammer is some of the best money I have spend on my truck. You'll get bang for your buck!

Re: Ordered wynjammer

A new one will come with a new pre tuned PCM. PCMforless does the tuning for Al.
You can always call Bryan there at PCM4less, he'll answer any questions you might have.

I really like the shift points and I have 4.10 gears on the back does al program the PCM for Shift points and my 4.10 gears so my speedo is not off???Or is that something that I should call PCM4LESS and tell them about it once I get the PCM from Al???

Re: Ordered wynjammer

I'd call PCM about the shift points. He may be able to program that in. I don't see why not. I'd call him real soon though because I got my chip in a couple days before the rest of the kit. I'm not sure about SAF-C.

Re: Ordered wynjammer

I believe the SAF-C's are RPM related. With S/C or turbo's you need to tune according to boost. Something like a Rising Rate Fuel Regulator, since they go from Boost and not by RPM's. Grab ya a wideband for sure. When I turbo'd my Neon it was a couple of months befoer I got my wideband. I had been runnin pig rich the whole time, she ran 20 times better after I tuned with the wideband

Re: Ordered wynjammer

When I ordered my Jammer I emailed Al telling him what I wanted done to the pcm. Like post cat o2 and egr turned off. The pcm comes straight from PCMforless and it will have your name on it so you should call Bryan ASAP.
I'm suprised Al didn't ask you to email him info on your truck like the Vin# and mods that you've done.

The day I ordered my Jammer Al had me send my info about my truck like vin # etc. He as well said to send a list of mods that I had so he could email Bryan with my info. Weird he didn't ask for this info.

Re: Ordered wynjammer

I'm getting 8, close to 9 out of mine through advanced timing. My dyno guy had mine up to 11 psi but I was blowing fluid out of the gasket so we had to back off, plus my exhaust was too resrictive. I need headers and a full 3" really to attempt to run more boost. And better head gaskets with stronger bolts! This is my winter plan actually. To make up for the lean A/F that I was seeing during my initial dyno tune( that's why I recommend everyone get a professional dyno tune even with the pcm chip mailed ordered, and Al didn't ask for my specs either) I installed a methanol injection kit which is what a lot of sy/ty owners use to eliminate detonation. My kit runs 100% meth so you don't have to worry about playing chemist and getting your water/meth mix correct like snow performance and devils own kits. You TBI owners advantage though is you can go to bigger injecters, I can't, I have the CPI.

As far as what the blower itself and what it can handle you may have to go over that with Al. But he gets a little tight liped about those figures. My tuner had to call him and duke it out so I could get a smaller altenator pully which I still haven't done. He said my jammer's running about 27,000 rpms now. Al said the max it can handle is probably 34,000. I plan to get a smaller pully and attempt to run mine at about 32,000. Al will probably black ball me if he saw I put that info out there, he's funny about his stuff. I'm not sure how much more boost a smaller pully would yield. That's yet to be done I believe, but that's my plan.

For the CPI? I just talked to him a week ago and he didn't mention it. I'll look into it for my winter rebuild. Thanks.
