Finally made some Nitrous track runs.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knp7YMOuceA

Ran pretty good for a baseline. It was only 50 degrees so the launch wasnt the best. Had some trouble with the tranny shifting at 5200 instead of 5000 for the first incar 75 shot run and I forgot to put it back in drive and left it in 2nd for the first in car 100 shot run then it also had a long delay in the 2-3 shift on the last 100 shot run.

I dont know why the tranny had delay of shifts all of a sudden? I have the nitrous turning off a 4900 so there isnt more power then ussual running through it. But I got some good baselines to tweak for next season.

I have to scan all my timeslips Ill put them up here soon.

Oh and I raced s106banger on every run except my final one.

Nice runs! Looks like you picked up more than a second in your time there. Looks like S106banger handed it to ya though. lol J/K

I would think so too. I wish we had 1/4 tracks close to me therefore I'd see what mine would do in the 1/4.

Your truck looks sweet pulling up to the line too. Looks tough pulling up to run.

Re: Finally made some Nitrous track runs.

I was #789 and s106banger is 780

N/A run with some knock for some reason.

Run 1 of 50 shot

Run 1 of 75 shot, tranny didnt want to shift until 5200 and nitrous turns off at 4900

Run 2 of 75 shot

100 Shot run 2 ( 100 shot run 1 forgot to put it back into drive after doing burnout in 2nd)

^^ That run the tranny didnt want to shift into 3rd so I had to let off a tad then got back on it.

my truck does the same thing if i leave the shifter in 3rd,
instead of "drive". always shifts several hundred rpm later.

around town, if i have it in "3rd, the part-throttle upshift
to 3rd gear tends to be rather harsh, but its always fine
if in drive.

not sure if this is a programing issue or if it just has something
to do with the overrun clutch being applied when anything lower
than "drive" is selected...

EDIT: nice runs BTW...

Re: Finally made some Nitrous track runs.

It's always fun when you have annother s10 to race with. Congrats on the times. That was about where I was at on the 100 shot the first time I used it.

Re: Finally made some Nitrous track runs.

when you live it in 3rd that puts it into OVER DRIVE thats why it is shifting later

Re: Finally made some Nitrous track runs.

I am just wondering what n2o kit you are using? I am also wondering if there is a fogger plate that can be put between the throttle body and intake on my 96. Good runs I can't wait to get the my engine into the blazer.
