H.p. tuners has a program that has allowed me to tune my 4.3 change fuel curves advance my timing reve limit shut off all emissions have been shut off and i pull 307 hp rw with out turbo or cam change did put in injectors stock a 160 thermo to help the timing and dual electric fans.2000 S-10 was 2.2 swaped for 4.3

you can use one from the jeep...but the only thing is your wheel will be 15% to the right or left..if you pull the wheel it will make the blinker clock off...but it does work.

I don't mean to jump in 7 pages back from something i saw at the beginning...... but you are using the vortec plastic valve covers with a turbo setup?? that doesn't seem very smart to me...... because you have all that high turbo heat right by plastic...... just a thought.... prove me wrong

lol dude i have been running with the plastic covers on my truck for years now. so have many others here, and so have hundreds of other syty guys who have swapped to vortec heads long ago, and even more who just swapped the valve covers because they think they are more visually pleasing than the older steel ones

i'm not dead jus been busy, the entire month of july was nearly 7 days a week of work so the truck has been put on the back burner.

I blew the clutch to hell since then...
Centerforce clutch, new slave new pilot bearing.

Finished the interior


30lbs lighter than stock carpet jute and insulation.

New gauge pod and new autometer gauge


Gettin my ford 8.8.

I'm very happy to report shes on the road again, need to retune it for a few hours and take it to the race shop to weld and finish the exhaust for the 3rd time, dund da da daaaaaa

lol short lived fun, i finally got theAFR's good again at 11, Took her out drove her 120 miles and broke my 3rd gear racing. I knew this was my weak gear it was a bitch to get it in everytime.

Good news
Beat a c6 vette
Beat a fast AMG benz who crapped all over an sti
Had a lot of fun drawing crowds
and didn't get in trouble with the law

bad news
3rd gear is almost entirely gone. Feels like i took the teeth off.

Nice, with that kind of power though I'd skip the NV3500 rebuild and go straight for a T56 or a TKO 5 speed.

meyers quick question i have read and fallowed your posts and i love it and i think your work is great i am currently going with a twin turbo mainly for the bling aspect but i was wondering about the sds and how it works i know it controls the extra injectors but does it control are all throttle ranges ?

For cost and availibilty reasons I picked up a NV3500 out of a 2002 wit 30k for $600. The shifter lcoation is different so i had to cut a whole in the floor. As well as cutting the cupholder off the seat. I hopefully will finish it this sunday.

The ford 8.8 is done ready for install. Painted, new e brakes, new pads, cut rotors and painted calipers wit POR15 kit

I didn't have the $3000 it would of taken to get me a tko or t56

The SDS is controller by a Map sensor and you can choose when the SDS helps fuel. On mine i have the SDS at 105kpa+ so when i am WOT its fuels just for boost. You can have it set for vacuum/boost not throttle loads. You can still build boost at part throttle. Long story short...anything i'm in boost the SDS are on regardless of rpm.
