Timing advance quick disconnect - where?

Hi guys. I am new to this forum. I have worked on and driven Camaros for years, but am for the most part new to wrenching on S10s. I have an old rusted out 1990 S10 Blazer Sport with a 4.3 Z code engine I bought a while back. She's a great winter beater even if she does need constant fixing. Anyway on to the question. Yesterday I decided to adjust my timing as it seems to be far too retarded. I can't seem to find the ECM advance quick disconnect. I'm used to TPI Camaros which have it on the passenger side firewall, but I can't find it anywhere on my Blazer. Can anyone help?

Re: Timing advance quick disconnect - where?

Well if there is ever a local S10 event maybe we'll meet. Although nobody is going to want to see my rust bucket, lol. I love S10's, and have owned 4 over the years, but they have always been my daily transportation, not my toys. The toys have always been my Camaro's.

Look in the morning call, they post when there is a show at Trexlertown shopping center. I get down there sometimes.

Yeah I knew it was tan and black. I just didn't know where it was on these trucks. Thanks again. I'm off work tomorrow so I'll have time to play with it again.
