hot start prob.

ok ive got a 99 ext cab 4x4 pick up. 5 speed. 4.3
and it has a hard time startin after its been ran for a while...
when i get up in the morn it has no problem startin
when the engine isnt hot...
but when it gets to runnin temp and i shut it off to go in to a store or something and come right back out and try to start it i have to almost floor it and let it idle for a second before i can take off or it will stall but after that it runs good other than chug gas
[but the gas issue could be because of the 35in tires]
the temp gage dosent work
soo im thinkin the comp. dosent know what temp the engine is soo it thinks it is cold and is chokein it.
ive replaced the colant sensor on the left side of the block
and i have no clue were the other is
idk what to do really

any help?

Re: hot start prob.

Could easily be fuel, sensor, or ignition related. Or a combination of both.
After the engine has run then parked for 5 min. check to see if the coil is hot. Have your ignition module tested 5 times in a row.
If fuel injection leaks, fuel can actually plug the injectors because of the heat.
