High idle on 02 4.3 2wd
this just started today, idle is around 700-1000 in park. check engine is on. in drive or reverse it drops to 500-550 which is what it normally idles at. I'm thinking TPS. let me know what u guys think... thanks

I think I would go get the codes read somewhere before making guesses and spending money.

TPS or IAC both sound like potential culprits to me, I would get the code scanned first to be sure though.

my buddy had a scanner, its the tps, I'm changing it out tomorow, thnx for the input
