Fuel pump compatible?
I'm wondering if I'm able to swap my tank/pump combo outta my 2.8 86 4x4 Blazer, since it's being scrapped, into my '92 S10 4x4 4.3L CPI. Looking at Summit Racing, the replacement fuel pumps are the same number, so I'm assuming it'll work, and I can get the tank to mount one way or another.

Re: Fuel pump compatible?
Isn't the 2.8 a TBI? If so, the pump pressure is too low for CPI.

Re: Fuel pump compatible?
I just tracked down a different donor truck though, has a 4.3L Vortec, it's a newer one, late 90s early 2000s. I'll see if that works. |

Re: Fuel pump compatible?
while were on the subject of fuel pumps, not to steal a thread, but will the fuel pumps for the syclone and typhoon work in the later model trucks?
i'd rather do this than make a new thread about it. |
