Question fel pro head bolts question

New Fel-pro head bolts! does anyone know if you have to add sealer and Oil these bolts, before installing? they have a white coating on the threads.


1994 S-Blazer Tahoe LT 4.3 Cpi, K&N, Leather, 3" Superlift BL, Indexed keys.
1998 Blazer 4x4 LT 4.3 10.5/1 keith black forged pistons, +.030", port & polished head & intake,
Manley PRO FLO valves 3 angle. Clevite 77 Main, Rod and Cam bearings.
Comp Cam 266 Duration .500 lift. Milled .030" off the heads, Milled .020" off the block.
Old School by choice!

to let everyone know those bolts are fine how they are.

Anything built since the early 90's has torque to yield bolts in them which is why u replace them. Normaly you put sealer on the bolts that go into the water jacket, and oil on the bolts that dont. I how ever have never done either and have never had a problem. If the bolts already have a sealer on them i would just put them in as is. If they dont or you just want to be safe put sealer on the bolts (atleast the ones that end in the water jacket).

1997 S-10 4.3L,auto, Electric fan, cherry bomb turbo muffler, rear disc swap, powertrax lock-right locker, and no more cv joints WOOT.

the bolts should already have some dry sealer on them, but i always add a small dab of sealant
