i understand building a motor for your ride is possible while still in highschool, my friend did that i used to work with for his el camino...but when you look at that kids list...its got some items in there that you would call bullshit on right away asap when you read em...and s106banger...nice job on yours...i wish in highschool i was more dedicated to the monte ss i had...all i did was throw on some exhaust, intake, and a system...and tinted windows...lol...

I could live with the kids list minus a few parts. I know what those few parts cost. Unless mom and dad are shelling out big bucks for him or he managed to get one hell of a high paying job I don't see it. Heads are 1600 bare. With everything in mine and done to mine I have almost if not more then 4g's in mine. Forged Rods and Pistons. Unless there are companies out there I have never heard of that makes them Eagle Rods 600 oliver like I have 1100. Pistons on design and manufacture 550 to the roof. Forged crank 2500 + maybe if you know who to call a little less. Those with them listed though start no less then 2500. And those carbon fiber drive-shafts go for between I believe 800 to like 1500 depending on size.

Re: Fastest N/A 4.3L Times

thanks joyride,
i added up everything i have into my truck the other, only the stuff i have recipts for, and it came to $5700. thats not just the motor though, thats everything, including an $800 set of wheels, the $1600 wynjammer, and the $800 rebuilt stock short block. at one point the one summer i was working 60 hours a week at 2 jobs.

getting back to the point, i see what your saying. i just didnt want you guys to think it was impossible.. but highly unlikely, yes. we'll prob never hear from him again anyways...
