Fastest N/A 4.3L Times

Submit all times as a PM to graniteguy. Do not add them here. 15.15 or better is required at this time. The rules are n/a 4.3 block in an s-10. Stroker, weight reduction, etc are all ok. Must be 1/4 mile times, no 1/8 mile extended guesses.

Re: Fastest N/A 4.3L Times

I found this page looking around for photos of Gregory Greening's 96S10 who is the current record holder in in the NHRA class I/FIA in Stock Eliminator. This link show the fastest time I've ever seen him run. Also for NHRA to post this he would have to be running according to all the rules NHRA has to follow. The definently means N/A no NOS. I understand he doesn't post on here and probably never will, but some consideration or mention needs to be made for getting his S10 to run this fast. Also Billy Lynn of Ark. has had his 95S10 running in the 12.20 range in H/FIA which is a lighter class. Anyway look under Stock Eliminator in this link to see his times NHRA.com - Reichert, Snyder collect wins at Gateway Lucas Series race

I'm sorry to say that the man taking the Vids (my father-in-law Ken Case) passed away June 20 2007 at the age of 47. He didn't know much about dragracing, but he was always ready to help in any way I needed it. I know he would have been more happy with these runs than I am. I would like to dedicate my 12.60 run to him.

Do yall consider running NO2 to be N/A?. I see Sebast has in his sig a 250shot. I don't consider running NO2 to be N/A. Also if that pass was without the NO2 please clarify.

I'm almost certain that Sebast's times shown here are n/a, and that his truck is deep into the 11's on the bottle.

PLEASE DON'T ASK THIS TO ME ANYMORE, THAT IS NOT THE FIRST TIME YOU TOLD THAT KIND OF THING ABOUT MY 13.2 RUN.

Re: Fastest N/A 4.3L Times

w-sonoma. try getting rid of the granatelli maf for a stocker and drop the jet programmer and pick up HPtuners or EFIlive and get a real tune. another thing since you have an upgraded igntion open up the gap on plugs and try some transmission work.

march underdrive pullies really help out as well. woke my truck up quite a bit.

try a B&M shift kit with corvette servos and a stall would really bring that E.T. down. maybe a 2800~3000stall converter. should easily bring you into the 14.7~14.9 range in the 1/4 mile.

good luck with it man.

Re: Fastest N/A 4.3L Times

What? - i'm getting on line about once a month or so which is not quick enough to handle any communications or reviewing any entrees.

On a side note. I got my truck started. it sat for about a year. Carburetor was white rusted, brown rusted and clogged to the point no gas would get through. I just rebuilt the carb and started it up. I hope to get some track times going again soon. I've had a constant water problem. Water in the fuel, water under the rotor, water in the carb. Its been a mess. The good part is I bought a shop and the s-10 is gonna have a roof over it now.
