Re: evap and egr removal

i have removed my 3rd O2 sensor and EGR codes removed,
kinda wish i had done the EVAP codes as well.

while i have physically removed the EGR and 3rd O2 sensor,
i plan to leave the EVAP canister in place and functioning.
its simple, weighs almost nothing, and does allow the engine
to burn fuel vapors that would otherwise be wasted.

Re: evap and egr removal

while the EVAP OBD diagnostic routines are a PITA,
the system itself does serve a useful function.

Re: evap and egr removal

I found a guy that will make me a full egr deletion kit for well the plate that replaces the egr valve for 43. I don't know if there is someone else out there that does cnc machine work and make a plate with the bowtie in the middle. He also can make a billet cap for the egr tube.

Re: evap and egr removal

It a company called "Custom Billet Works Inc." on ebay if you want to take a look. Probably going to order mine soon if I can't find something cheaper. Its going to cost me probably 70 for the whole kit which is the block off plate and both plugs the one on the header and intake.
