double roller timing chain ?s

i went to the machine shop today and they had some questions about the crank sensor w/ the double roller and being a balance shaft motor
also according to summit a double roller doesnt fit the stock time chain cover
suggestions please

I know cloyes makes a double roller and its listed in my oe catalog listing software here at work so you shouldn't have a problem as far as I know just so you know replacing the timing chain on the 4.3 is a bitch it is listed at 13 hrs in alldata

i suppose it would be something like that but the motor is already out and apart
but according to summit no double roller fits a stock cover

No double roller made for a balance shaft motor, I believe. If I am wrong, PM me, cause I got one I would love to do it to. My investigations show it not possible either.

This is 100% accurate, there are no double roller timing chains made for a balance shaft 4.3 due to the balance shaft gear. You don't need a double roller anyways, just get a quality oem replacement like a cloyes true roller.
