Re: 4.3 parts
Heads you have to use factory designs unless you wanna dump 2500 plus on aluminums. Cams Comp cams has a wide catalog for the 4.3L. Crank the only after markets available is from RPM which is nitrated or Billet steel RPM or Crower can get for you gonna cost you roughly 3 Gs. Pistons any 350 small block for the bore you have. Rods you can stay stock go eagle or shell 1100 for Oliver. Push rods rocker arms and so on come off a small block. The stuff is there if you look.

Re: 4.3 parts
I would guess nothing, having lots of back pressure actually cussions the piston on the exhaust stroke.

Re: 4.3 parts
If the stroke from 4.3 to 350 is the same, you can do a cheap upgrade from stock rods to powdered LT1/LT4 rods from GMPP.

Re: 4.3 parts
Small block rods can not be used unless you have a machine shop willing to bore out the crank side and thin them down. If you want rods your only real choices are Eagle is the cheapest or Oliver which is worthless for 275 ponies. Now if you said 750 I'd say go Oliver

Re: 4.3 parts
Ahh alright did not know about the strokes being different. GMPP does make a few parts for 4.3s but expect to shell out some serious dough.

Re: 4.3 parts
Here's a list of things I did to my performance build. I started with a pre-balanced camshaft roller block. I don't know the year. Picked it up used. Rounded up some 350 four bolt main caps and had them installed on the 4.3. Of course a main bore was performed.Polished the stock rod beams and had ARP rod bolts installed.Flat-top TRW forged 350 pistons with Total Seal Maxseal Gapless rings.1996 or newer Vortec V6 heads. Had Manley Street Flo valves installed. Valve job must be a multiangle one back-cutting the valve. Removed the stock rocker arm bolts and redrilled for 3/8" V8 rocker arm bolts. Now I'm using BowTie 1.5 ratio self aligning roller rockers (any SBC roller rocker will work)Comp Cam non-balanced 4.3 hydraulic roller cam.Edelbrock 4 barrel Performer intake manifold specific for Vortec heads (can't remember the part number)500 cfm Demon Carb
