Where to look.

Where would I look for a 2.8L TBI, where someone is maybe doing a swap or has a spare laying around. It needs to be in good running condition. I just did a head gasket repair on mine and believe the block is shot. Didn't know anything about the internals as I just bought the truck back in February. Well the engine had been bored 40 over and now the pistons have some blow by. Sitting idle engine doesn't smoke but when I hit the throttle, she smokes like hell. Vehicle is a 1987 S-10 Blazer 4x4. Engine vin code is R.

Re: Where to look.

Of course I'd be willing to pay shipping. How much you asking for the motor? I also know some people that live in Arkansas. Actually it's my parents that know people there, but not sure which town they're located in. Gonna have to find out that info soon I suppose.

I'm sure you will pay but no offense I'm not going into all the trouble of creating it up and putting it on its way. They in arky and show up to get it that might work but right now its in my blazer until I finish getting the rest of my 3.4 parts (within the next month I hope).
