Is my 2.8 going?

I'm just wondering if my 2.8 is going bad or not. I was doin' some offroading on Friday and now every time I'm cruising, the truck jerks a tiny bit. Does that mean its going?

could be a fuel issue or a fouled spark plug or bad wire...when was your last tune up?

Re: Is my 2.8 going?

This would mean mine was on its way out the door several years ago. Lol. Ok, first off, are you sure it's an actual engine surge? Or the transmission?

The older fellow I bought it of of said it had a tune up about a month before I got it, and that was the end of August of last year.

To be honest I'm not sure, like I said, I was off roading with the 4x4 engaged, then when I was heading home, it was jerking a little.Oh yeah, and I did disengage the 4x4 when I was going home.
