ignition coil & plug wires

is it really worth the money to purchase 8mm wires dont think my coil has ever been replaced so was thinking bout msd or such same with wires what do ya guys recommend thanks just recently did plugs and wires cap rotor plugs and wires are autolites stock cap rotor

not really worth all that suff...if the coil fires fine then just let it be

just run some AC Delco wires and call it a day...it also wouldn't hurt to change out the cap and rotor if it's never been doin

yeah i did do cap and rotor also so if i were to do the msd coil with autolite wires for instance would not notice anything at all ?

most likely not.....especially on a bone stock engine...only way you'll notice the coil is if your orginal one isn't firing as it should

thats what im saying dont think its firing like it should seems to crank more then should to start up so im kinda wondering if should just stay with stock or if i were to pay little more for msd would notice anything at all

I just put in mallory pro silicone 8mm stainless steel core wire (ebay) and there was a noticable difference from the ac delco wire. This was after in installed NKG Iridium plugs, Edelbrock TES headers, Holley 502-3 TBI. The plan is to get a multi-spark CD ignition box but the heli core stainless steel wires have already made a noticable difference with better idle, response and mpg.
