help on sensors

I have a 1986 2.8 anybody know what sensor is located on the right rear of the head it threads into it and has only one wire connected.its just above the head bolt #9 in torquing sequence.

2.8 only has 8 head bolts, intake has 10, so do you mean head bolt 1 (which I guess would be 9 if you keep counting for the second torquing) or intake bolt 9?


I think your talking about the temp sensor. Get me a pic of what your talking about so I can be sure.

your right I meant #7 on head, it's almost straight under coil I'll try to get a pick as soon as possible
