Fuel pump problems

I tried searching but didnt come up with anything so here it goes. My truck runs like a top other than this one thing. When I shut the key off the fuel pump continues to run. I know its supposed to go for like 10-15 secs but mine runs non stop. The only way I can shut the pump off is to pull the fuse or relay. If I put them back in less than a minute or so it will start to run again but if I wait say 5 mins its fine. Whats going on? Could it be a bad relay? Ive also been told it could be the oil presure switch being bad but idk. Oh btw its a 92 2.8 s10

Re: Fuel pump problems

Figured it out. The wires running from the fuel/oil pressure switch had laid on the header and was grounding out.
