Edelbrock cam install

Ok, so my cousin has an 88' firebird with a 2.8 and was thinkin about gettin edelbrocks cam and lifter set.
what all does installing the cam entail?

pulling intake, and ft cover. on the 2.8 it sucks.

get a lifter puller tool. on a 2.8 i promise you will need it.

If your ever torn down any motor its basically the same. A few bolts and alignment pins in different spots but the parts are all there.

If you have never done any work on a motor I highly suggest you go get some kind of manual (chiltons or factory books would be my first pics but even a haynes will work) and read up first. Its something I don't think anybody will be ablle to sit here and describe to you but you'll just have to get your hands dirty and learn.

i have some experience with engines i just didnt know if there was anything special about this particular engine

As far as working on it its pretty much the same as any other internal combustion gasoline engine.
