convert to carb?

so i searched forum for this before i posted and there is only 1 post asking a similar ? in the 4.3 forum, now my ? stands can i convert this motor to a carb with a manifold, carb,bi flow valve and pressure regulator? or is it more complex?

A little more. You need a vacuum advance distributor too.

Yes, that will have the vacuum advance can on it.

Up to '85 on the S trucks, but there were some cars with the 2.8 also. I don't think it would matter if they were front wheel drive or not. Might be a specialty junk yard that would have something that old.
Looks like Chuck & Eddies in Southington has an '85 for $300

well i actually have a carb/intake/distributor that came off of an 85 2.8L for sale if anyone is interested. pm if you are!
