Cherry Picking a 2.8

Well soon the 2.8 will be comin' out of the 86' s10 and the 3.4 crate will be goin' in. My question is, where is the best place on the motor to lift it out.

well the best way ive used upto this point is an intake lift plate like the one used for 4bbl. carb patterns. i drilled 3 holes in it and took the TBI off and bolted the plate on. it beats wrestling with chains

Hey that looks great! I think i am just going to use the tabs on the heads. I have to use the old intake for the 3.4
