2.8 mods

I have a 93 s10 with 2.8 tbi i would like to give it a little more power i put a single flowmaster 40 series with y pipe.

how much power would be gained with the jet chip 6 pack, headers, and a 4.3 tbi swap?

I'm in agreement with the committee. I love my 2.8, but there just isn't anything that you can do to add a little more oomph! to it. I also have a single inlet to dual outlet flowmaster 40 series on my truck. Although it sounds beefy, but it's all bark and no bite. The best you can do is just ride it like it is, or consider a bigger motor swap for more power.

There is plenty that can be done to it. 4.3 TB on a bored intake, headers, cam, roller rockers, custom chip burnt, port and polish, bore it out, turn it into a 3.1. It just depends on how far you wanna go.

I just said stay away from the JET crap or any mass produced chip for that matter. If you need a chip it has to be tuned for the exact mods done to the engine its going in. Chips are not something that can be done and work for everything.
