Re: True Brand Performance Intake Pics/Opinons
![]() 1998 K&N FIPK Gen. II, $260 Shipped, Looked very nice and blends with engine bay and like the heat shield, notice extra grunt on the low end, mileage increase was about 1mpg average on grandma driving, heavy foot, same mpg as before the mod. Worthawhile mod? I like the look of it than chrome or painted Last edited by What? : 11-28-2007 at 09:22 PM. |

![]() 1995, FIPK GEN. I, The intake made alot better throttle response. it had a noticeable power difference in the mid to high rpm. i got 2-3 mpg more when it has a clean air filter. when i revved it you could here the air getting sucked i thought it sounded pretty cool. Re: True Brand Performance Intake Pics/Opinons
I bought a APC(American product Company) brand for $60 at advanced auto parts. Its not pretty by no means but i have noticed an increase in MPG and acceleration. Ill try to get pic in a few days but I'm going to mod it to be all chrome in a few week i hope.
