Re: slideshow/video of my truck

I went to the track that day on 7psi of boost with the intentions of turning up the boost, data-logging and tuning the truck all day and my interface module wasn't working so I made a few passes and went home... the one in the video was a 15.3 @ 89mph. We are at 6000ft elevation though so it's a slow track. Turbocharged liter bikes only run 10.5 or so on average out here and they will run 9.90's without a turbo at sea level...

The truck is so much faster! I was planning on going back many times this year but little problems plagued me all summer like my fuel pump failed, tires were shot, too busy working and we got a ton of rain this summer which made things hard too! Now it's winter and the track is closed... I don't know where the time goes sometimes!

Re: slideshow/video of my truck

On seven pounds of boost....I like!

I know lots of vw 1.8t's that have 18 pounds of boost and run low 15's like you did.

Re: slideshow/video of my truck

thats pretty sweet, glad you got some vids. Any dyno numbers yet? And have you ever thought about running a snow kit? The dyno shop told me I could run 12lbs with little troubles on stock internals. It will be a while before I can dyno it again, but with the ASP pullies, better exhaust, and that, Im hoping for a 20+ hp gain.

No dyno charts or numbers to share yet but I do have some data log files that I am trying to turn into pictures to share on here so you guys can see how fast the acceleration actually is on just 15psi. I will be running 20-22psi by the end of the year and should have some more track videos sometime around the first of the year since I will be in Louisiana and the track is still open there

Should have some more just for fun video's to post soon too

It's pushing the limits of what most people will ever do with the 2.2l S10 but I have a lot more than that up my sleeve. My blue truck runs 15psi on average and will only get cranked up every once in a while but the red one will be going for broke every time out... the only problem there is I have to finish the V6 conversion and get the 4.3L guys the pictures they have been begging for and then take it all apart and get it set up for the 2.2 again and get the cage built for it before I can start taking it out.

I tried to get a drift video from inside the cab tonight for you guys but it was way too dark. Hopefully no one will be working in the other shops around me tomorrow and I can get one during the day. It gets dark here at 4:30 though so that makes it tough when people are working..
