Serious Tach Help
Alright so i bought a sun pro super tach 2 to put on my 2000 flex 5 speed and i went to the white wire behind the dash and it was giving me the wrong rpm's so i tried it on 4,6,8 and still no correct rpm's. So i bought a sun pro tach adapter that is mad to be used on our trucks and i installed it and still not right....Can someone please HELP me on how to hook up the tach

Re: Serious Tach Help
Cut it off and connect it, then make sure you have ground wire on ground and not by bolt or anything that isn't 100% ground.
Take a pic of the connector and white wire you used just to make sure its same as in sticky. |

Re: Serious Tach Help
i got a 2001 and i have a autometer or autoguage brand, like the ones at the advanced auto parts store and i never cut the wire all the way off the cluster, i just stripped it and run it off the stripped part. Works great and its a 5 spd too. reason i know it works perfect cuz it idles at around 900 rpms and starts to high rev at around 5500 or so. haha if that made sence
