Rpm

I am trying to decide if something is wrong with the tranny in my sons truck. I have driven it and it seems to get through all the gears, and I feel what I believe to be lock up about 45 mph. The truck is a 2000 sonoma with auto transmission and 2.2L engine. At 60 MPH this truck is turning around 3200 rpm, and that seems awful high to me. Any input?

Re: Rpm

Re: Rpm

00' extended cab auto here so i should have 4.10 gears , 65 mph = 2400-2800 rpm (2400 with converter lockup on, around 2800 when the lockup is not yet activated) when in 4th gear
