are you sure? i think they are only 56mm. I never measured mine when i put it on, but i am pretty sure the "olds" ones (the quad 4) are only 56mm.

does adding the larger tb make any noise difference. im about ready to demod my truck because im tired of how loud the dang thing is. if i could find out what causes the loudness id get rid of it or fix it.

Brandon, 98-03 are same TB, go get it if you can

Kretty1, not shown on dyno but enough for you to git your arse moving faster than intake/exhaust put together

Ziber, i know im deaf, i didnt hear any difference with my hearing aids and others has put on and never say anythin about noise difference, check for any leak hosing as well, what type of noise is it making?

stock to drop in intake to any aftermarket intake set up for our 2.2 will work, same outside diameter, just inside is bigger opening.

Ok so here is my opinion on the bigger throttle body mod. Yes I have a 2.2 and its fully built w/internals ( AND YES IT COSTED OUT THE ASS. AND NO IT DOES NOT HAVE FORCED INDUCTION) why by a bigger throttle body for more air when you need to widen the intake that the tb sits on? Sure I understand that it can get more air and stuff but only so much air can be forced through the intake. So ergo you should also widen the intake to which the tb sits on to accomadate that mod. if you do that then the tb is a worthy mod.
