p1137 and p0137 codes?

Hey guys, i have an 01 xtreme 4 speed and its spitting these codes out. I looked up the codes but i do not know if these are urgent or not really a big deal. I just put in an aftermarket intake so may that be causing it. I would appreciate the help guys. thanks.

Re: p1137 and p0137 codes?

they are O2 and lean related codes so i would check the install and make sure it's correctly installed but i think the problem is the O2 sensor itself.

Re: p1137 and p0137 codes?

lean problems can f some stuff up, especially if it's real lean (my GTO knows all about that). at WOT it will make a detonation picnic out of your rod bearings and pistons.
but looking the codes you posted the p0137 is a bank 1 sensor 2 code and that is the after cat one so either the cat is done or the O2 is bad.

Re: p1137 and p0137 codes?

He's right, you only need to replace o2 sensor on AFTER cat, either that OR your cat is bad. Either way isn't affecting your engine unless cat is clogged bad then you'll lose mpg and power.
