Whats happenin dime lovers got a simple hopefully simple question what is the difference between 96 s10 2.2 oil pump, lifters, push rods and a 98 2200 oilpump and such now the 98 head had roller rockers can't find maker markers except on all rockers 10.9 is imprinted in them and a single letter and number my oil pump in my 96 went out thinking the lifters went too now can i just like plug and play or open a extra bottle of Tylenol any information would be greatly appreciated
Off the top of my head the older 2.2 lifterm bores on the block accept a wiDer lifter body. I believe '94-'96? Pushrods are different lengths between '98 & newer to '97 & older. Rockers are 1.6 ratio '98 & newer vs 1.5 '97 & older. Valves are different. Pistons are different, cam is different, head is different. All this info is readily available on this forum.
