heater core delete question

heater core delete question

i took out my heater core, wanted to know what do you guys do with the two lines that are disconnected from the heater core. i did some searching and just found how to remove core but never found what was done with those lines.
any help on this appreciated

I was once told to just run them into one another but im not positive..

That's what you do, that way it flows just like it would normally, just not going through the heater core.

I'd never take my heater out but that's just me... I have bypassed leaky core this way till I could get around to fixing - replacing them.

I guess I'll be doing this. Antifreeze in the driver side floor board sucks.

With this done would I still be able to run the defrost even though there won't be any heat?

LOL, the fan will still work, but it will just blow cold air, it won't de-frost the window.

delete the heater...lol...I think I'll delete the engine...the damn thing is using gas when I drive...

yeah I figured that much. just didn't know if it would be blowing out the remaining antifreeze or whatever, and add to the film already on my windshield. haha
