I don't really mean to bump an old thread with one of my first posts, but I have been searching both here and on the HPTuners forum and I would like to know if anyone with and '01-'03 S10 2.2 has actually been able to tune their truck with HPTuners.

The only things that I have found is that they are on HPTuners supported vehicle list, and the quoted post. I don't put alot of value in the vehicle list because my wife's '04 Ion is on that list and it's NOT supported.

I am still in the process of looking for an S10. The main one I'm looking at is an '03 2.2 5-speed. But I want to make sure I will have tuneability with HPTuners. I still have some extra credits and want to make sure that I can use them.

Re: For all you 2.2L Bastards (Tuning Software Released)

Really there's no noteworthy differences between the 2.2 and 2200 that I know of...that HPTuners thread linked to on the first page seems to confirm that (at least tuning-wise) the differences are negligible because it supports both.

Anyone who has the software, does this pull ABS codes and other BCM codes for our dimes? They say it does for some vehicles but there's no list of what does what...I know it won't clear and edit the BCM and ABS modules, but supposedly it reads.

The scanner side of the software should be able to tell you any code the truck throws. I bet this includes the ABS module. You can post up on their website and ask them.

It would be nice to be able to reprogram the computer for different tire sizes.. I bet I'm dreaming.
