Re: crankshaft sensor

Right hand side of your engine block, just above the oilpan and forward of your coilpack. jack the truck up and access through the right wheelwell for the easiest access.

Re: crankshaft sensor

A word of warning when you're trying to pull the sensor out, be very careful. The majority of the sensor is just plastic, and it becomes incredibly brittle, and easy to break after 10 years of being stuffed in the block.

Just take your time with it, and don't try to force it if you feel it's not coming. Slow and steady should get it out worry-free, or just could just get lucky and have it pop out no problem. Good luck to ya!

Re: crankshaft sensor

What went bad on my computer was injector part system. It kept spraying fuel, non stop,in #4 cylinder.I replaced the computer with one from an aution site that will reflash you computer to let your truck run..It runs now but it feels like its missing out..I have to replace my tank because of a hole and relocate the charcoal canister.I been getting code p0200.So I might have to take it back again...
