a/c questions ?? please help !

i have a 1995 s10 2.2 and i cant get the ac working !!! the a/c pump will not spin when i turn on the switch inside the truck ! any ideas why ?

you're more than likely out of refrigerant because of a leak..there's a pressure switch on the high pressure line that cuts the compressor off once it gets below a certain amount

i went and out and bought a recharger for it and its holding pressure !

i thought the pressure switch kills the clutch when the pressure builds... hence the cycling it makes under normal operation...anyway yea you need a r-134 machine cause those cheap kits from the auto store and like if you need a quick shot of gay. but the machines will actually suck it down and remove the moisture and anything else. and tell you if it will hold a charge with the vacuum gauge. and recharge the proper amount. or if your compressor isnt kicking in i would check the connection on the compressor. should be 2 wires coming out of the clutch on the pully. i think it should see 12v

the A/C compressor on the 2.2 doesnt cycle but the one on the 4.3 does.
