95 2.2 rebuild
I'm currently in the process of rebuilding my 95 s10 2.2... Its been bored 0.40 over.. Block has been milled .008 and the head has been completely redone and skimmed to clean up.
-Is there anything that i should beaware of? -Is there any certain way the oil pump cam gear thing has to go back in the block? -Cooper coat the head gasket? Thanks! |

Re: 95 2.2 rebuild
I like having a Haynes and Chiltons manual, and use the info combined between both of them. each leaves out details, or photos.
I'd throw a 180 degree thermostat in the motor though, not the stock 195 degree, since those can cause overheating, which leads to our infamous headgasket failures. |
