Re: 2.2 performance???

Install a set of Power Performance ball joints.

Check out the 2.2 section also. There is a sticky at the top.

Re: 2.2 performance???

It depends on how much money you want to spend on, ASP Pulley, efan, 56mmTB are low budget and decent power adder.

Re: 2.2 performance???

I would start with intake and exhaust. If you dont have to smog then dont buy a K&N intake just get one of the nice ebay ones or something. After that i would do the 56mm tb and the STS/ASP pulleys. You definitely gain power and the truck is more fun to drive but the MPG also increase with is also a huge benefit.

Re: 2.2 performance???

I bought a turbo off of an SVO Mustang that I was going to put on my S10. But since I'm doing an LS1 swap, I won't be needing it. If you choose to go that route, I'll make you an awesome deal on it.

E-fan, 56mmTB mod, and ASP Pullies. ALL 3 are easy, effiecient and low budget.

Re: 2.2 performance???

single best power adder? Id say drive it off of a cliff. That would give you the fastest 1/4 times for sure.

Re: 2.2 performance???

cmon southernrock... terrible reply. These engines are rock-solid. Not the most hp out of a 4 cylinder, but gobs of torque. Plus, if you maintain them decently, they'll last forever. Regarding performance... Pry turbo or supercharger, but, it will cost you.
