water temp guage install question

ok ive been searching where most ppl install the sending unit for a water temp .
i searched the board and didn't find anything, anyone have a good thread on this or a good how to??

The original water temp dash sensor is in the back of the head on top towards the drivers side, there is a green wire comming out of it, if it just has a dash light (idiot light) then it will have a sender there for the light also and a green wire too. Just remove that sender and replace with your new one.

No problemo, good luck. I replaced mine when the head was off of it, much easier, but might pull the valve cover if necessary.
