one start wonder?

allright I have a 91 s-10 2.5 5speed. it will fire right up no prob but if I shut it off she's done for about 30-40 min. I assumed weak fuel pump so I changed it even though once I got it out it looked new? fuel filters new, tune up is new. I haven't checked for spark and I tried dumping gas and starter fluid in the throtle body and only got it to fire up once like that but I don't think its spark. its tough to work on a vehicle my self I need a bump start button under the hood but its a stick. and yes I tried push starting with no luck?

Re: one start wonder?

you can actually purchase a tool called a remote starter that hooks to the starter terminals and allows you to control it by a trigger or push button. i used to use mine every now and then when i still turned wrenches for a living.

as for your actual question, i assume that the engine still turns over like normal, but does not start and run after the first time?

i HAD the same exact problem with my truck, didnt have the money to get it dioged or the money to start replacing sensors. in the end i never figured out what the problem actually was. yesterday morning on the way to work it decided not to run anymore!!! BOOM!!!!!!!!

as for the ignition module, i had just put in a NEW distruibuter in it, and it had everything new on it. if it was that then i dont know!!!
