My new truck payed for in yard work
Im fairly inactive hear but i check in daily..
but i have a 1989 s10 2wd reg cab with a new 2.5 (700k) and a new 5spd. I cut grass to pay it off..LOL But i am in need of a few opinions: 1. headliner..i cut out a template using cardboard and plan on wrapping the cardboard in blue suede but got the great idea of using a tanned deer hide ![]() 2. Occasionally when my truck is up to running temp.(180 thermo) it stalls out every time i let it idle..this happens maybe once a week..WTF? 3.I have a somewhat digital gauge..it has a gas gauge and speedo and everything else shows up on the sides and only show when theres something wrong EX: oil pres..check engine..parking brake..voltage... and it also tells me when to shift..well the speedo went out and it stopped telling me when to shift..? halp |

Re: My new truck payed for in yard work
I would use the factory headliner as a base to build off of.
Here is a camaro headliner I redid for a guy. Blue/silver suede. ![]() The buck skin would be different-I like different ! |

It's not so much that I don't think you have your pattern right as much as the contours of the roof-thats what makes it sturdy, and the fact that the cardboard won't last long at all after you glue you fabric on there.Don't get me wrong,I hope you can make it all work.
