Re: carb conversion...

We are using an aftermarket fuel pump but only because we are using a fuel cell. The stock fuel pump should work with no problems. For any of you who live near Lawerenceburg Indiana, we will have our truck down there for funfest Oct 12, 13, and 14.

The Holley 12-803BP is adjustable from 4.5 to 9 psi and allows fuel to continuously flow and keep the pump cool, quiet and alive.

Re: carb conversion...

Does anybody know of anywhere I could find more information on the parts required to change my '88 2.5L TBI to a carburator.

Thanks,
Cory

Re: carb conversion...

All the citations I have owned always had the crossflow head. The last non-crossflow head that I have seen on of 2.5 was on the late "70's" rear wheel drive Pont Sunbirds, chevy Monza style of car. Some of those cars also has the crossflow head. They along with the early citations had a carb, but I don't know if the intakes would fit the later 2.5 up to 1987 anyway. I know the dist. works as that is what I'm using in my circle track car.

Later 2.5's were roller, so no they wont work...also. remember when swapping heads, that the spring for a roller are diff for a hydraulic...make sure youve got the right ones there too.
