water in oil

i have maybe 100 miles on my 383 with dart iron eagle heads, 13.1 motor284/296-- 507/510 cam, i just swapped intakes and started it then later on that day i noticed that there was water in my oil and it turned into freakin milk,, maybe a cracked head or blown head gasket? im so pissed

maybe you have a leaky intake gasket and it's dumping coolant into the lifter valley man.

if it was fine before you swapped the intake, then that's probably the problem, check the easy stuff first before you tear the whole damn motor down

Yup, Id take off the intake first. Reseal it, change the oil and try again.

Unless you take off the pan and clean it out there is going to be some residual buildup in the crankcase. I "think" most people just let it ride until the oil temp gets up above 212 and boils off the excess water.

x2 i my self have done this one before... but get that antifreeze out of the bottom end as quick as you can cause itll eat up bearings quick.

and why such high compression with that small of a cam?

i got this motor out of a buddies truck after he went to jail for 700 bucks he had about 3500 bucks in it and i was the first 2 fire it

go with what everyone has suggested and see what happens,I would do it quick though because i would believe the guy that said the antifreeze will eat up bearings,I dont have any experience of that but just think,oil is meant to touch those bearings and nothing else lol.
