pullers fit fine even with the motor in stock location on the jtr mounts. pullers keep my ~300hp truck with AC cool

If you look closely, under the mess of crap you can see something that resembles an engine.

Great pictures guys! Some of those engine bays look very clean indeed, some of the others aren't quite so tidy!

Here's one of the not so tidy installs. I can't complain, it's been a very reliable daily driver. Damn it's hard to beat a chevy!

Re: *V8 Swap Pics*

yeah, I am too lol, I have a Mojave heater going in (only cause I need defrost)

I know a lot of the guys can't even keep their V8's cool, even without air conditioning. Plus once you move your radiator forward there isn't much room for a condensor.

Re: *V8 Swap Pics*

It isn't in there in this pic yet, but I managed to get the condensor in front of the radiator and above the intercooler, so the condensor will go if your extra wimpy and absolutely refuse to do away with the A/C. I even had to scrap the factory heat and air in favor of a Vintage Air behind dash unit to clear the turbo. I am also running the EDF and a 19 x 31 dual core radiator, so over heating hasn't been an issue for me, even while towing 12K+ loads in the summer.

Re: *V8 Swap Pics*

Here's my 92 LT1 Vett engine swap. With full accessorys. I plan on dressing it up a little more.
I realy like the look of this engine in here. I will be chaning the wiring so less of it shows. The orgional ECM has been
removed and it now uses a Vett ECM instead.

Haha I never use AC. I'm looking for any excuse to swap my 2.2 out for a 350. Its getting a new heart as soon as my engine or tranny takes a shit.
Are you still able to keep the heat if you get rid of the AC?

Fuel injected swaps in fuel injected trucks look GREAT. I hate to see hacked carb swaps in fuel injected trucks. Looks too sweet when done right!!!!!

Re: *V8 Swap Pics*

heres mine as of a few months ago, might look the same in a week or so, but it wont be running like it used to, haha

over the winter whent he rear is being upgraded, i am putting the battery in the bed, moving the computer where the p/s resevoir is, moving the ps res. to the old battery location, ditching the stock overflow tank for a hotrod oneand ditching the wiper tank for good. This should cleant he bay up very well.

it would be sick if you painted the intake manifold the same color as the aqua blue you have on the body.

Re: *V8 Swap Pics*

Yes. We just cut a notch in the heater case just enough so the pasenger side valve cover wont hit.
I have a 2nd gen that I could post a picture of to show you if need be.
With my swap I kept everything, AC, heater, Power Stearing, Antilock breaks etc, hidden rail gun.
