Re: Race oil pan recommendations needed!
I'm using a Hamburger's oil pan on emann's 400. Should be plenty of room. Nice 8qt pan with good baffles and a splash screen.

Re: Race oil pan recommendations needed!
well what exhaust are you runnin? cause if you go with the inside frame longtubes then you CAN NOT run anything wtih a kick out sump. those headers will just about touch a dang stock pan.

Why does he have to run a kick out sump pan? mine is a 8qt with 2 in headers inside the rails.

well if you have the hedman long tubes you cant run a kick out sump...
and with your eight quart pan how much ground clearence do you have? i couldnt have anything hang below the crossmember cause i am also lowered. it just depends on what he is doin wtih this thing. |

Re: Race oil pan recommendations needed!
ya i had tried 2 different style pans and i couldnt get either to work without some mods. and then i thought about how fun it would be to change the starter.... you've already got to take the headers apart to get one in there with a stock pan...
