I did yesterday. I was going to go to one in North Branch, but the guy said he won't do any cleaning to it. So I called around and there is one in Forest Lake. But the machinist doesn't get back until Monday! I'm getting a little impatient about it. But one of the guys at the shop in Forest Lake says they do hat tank and the whole 9 yards. I know, Hey I mentioned in the first post that this will be a slow build. But now that I do have the money to get get some progress done I can't. It's a little irritating.

Does anyone know if I can do a core swap for a crank at like a Napa or anything?

EDIT::: My friend says he has a Turbo 350 Trans sitting in his shed at his parents house. He said I can have it as long as I pay him to rebuild it! So I got the transmission covered!

They come in 6, 9, and 12 inch tailshafts. 9 is what you want.

I was looking at the pics you have....the block with all the chips...is it the one you plan on using for this build? Personally, I wouldn't trust something with that many imperfections.

Oh, and what the hell happened to the crank to get the bolt hole crooked like that?
