His heads are vortecs, period. They are 906 castings and have the single hump which means they have the hardened seats. The only difference is the hardened exhaust seats which can be machined to flow as good as the sawtooth head. The intake side on both flow identical. I could pull up 50 articles stating the obvious.

If you care to argue further..... find one article that specifies his heads with the single hump aren't vortecs. I will find 5 for every 1 you find that say his are.

It's not? It has a place to put the dipstick on both sides yes. I dunno seems to work, it's in the truck.

Wow it has 2 dipstick spots on the passenger side and one on the driver side. Thats a lot of extra holes. Sounds fun.

Not too sure what you are seeing that I'm not, but it only has one mount on each side of the pan.

Re: Post pics of your V8 Engine Bay (New Thread)

1 inch up from the bottom center of the picture you will see a dipstick hole. For a pan type dipstick. Around 1 inch up from that you will see the exposed gasket where the pan is made for a PS dipstick block. Meanwhile your saying there is another spot on the other side? I'm sure theres more to this.

Re: Post pics of your V8 Engine Bay (New Thread)

They are advanced adapters slickfit 4x4 "headers". They are basically a manifold though. As long as they do the job that's all I need.

i hope all of you know that you with SBC 350's, i make your gasket kits, and stand alone gaskets, head gaskets, valve cover gaskets and intake/exhaust gaskets, and everytime i do them, it saddens me cause i want a 350 even more

especially the 10,000 gasket orders mrgasket places

Re: Post pics of your V8 Engine Bay (New Thread)

dont we all wish :P
we only make them when a company orders them, and any spares we have we store away for next time, sometimes we throw away 50+ "bad" intake/exhaust mrgasket 5820 and 5821 when mr gasket orders 10,000

they just either just slap and have crap all over the gasket thats extra and they wont accept, or arnt good enough to ship.

if i do find any 350 v8 extra ones ill make sure to grab them.

let me know what gaskets you need and ill find out if i can grab a few
our unit price per intake/exhaust is pretty cheap, around 40-90 cents a gasket copper head gaskets are way more.

but then again mr gasket's 10,000 gasket orders are about $5000+ and i hate screening both sides= 20,000 times
