oil in my dist??

bought 97 s-10 with "77" 350 ...guy said that engine has less than 5000 miles on new rebuild, but just had to replace lifter cause collapsed, and found oil in my dist, never drips a drop of oil when its parked, and no bad leaks anywhere. any ideals on this??

I'd drain the oil and see what comes out. I had two collapsed lifters in the same cylinder, took the oil pan off and it had a spun rod bearing in two cylinders. Just something to take into consideration. Never heard of oil inside the distributor though, the cap part or the shaft part?
