I try to keep you guys/girls up to date on Barney's ET.
So here we go.
Same motor as last years 11.71 @ 115........except with a 150 shot.
1.438 60', 4.307 330', 6.721 1/8 @ 102.07, 8.802 1000', 10.564 1/4 @ 127.53

My friends said the left front was about a foot in the air!

On the next run I played "Lets Grenade the 7.5!"

Holy cow 22 mph from a 150 shot. I think you meant 115 on the 1st et. Anyway good times get the new rear and change the jets to 200 hp soon it will be time to get licensed lol.

You are right......I did mean 115.

as for the rear....it will have a 9" soon.
I think some of my friends got the destruction on vid.....I'll have to see.

Victor Jr. intake, 750 mech secondary Demon, TCI 700r4 w/TCI 3500 stall, 7.5 10 bolt with Richmond 3.73 gears and a Zexel unit from a 02 Z28(all is broken!), Comp. Eng. Slide-A-Links,
275/60/15 MT Drag Radials.

Oh yeah........Zex Perimiter Plate system set on 150.

on that zex plate you are running a wetkit right? i know zex makes alot of dry kits. If you dont run a 9" if you can find 8.5 ive had nothing but good luck with mine...plus they take less power to turn then a 9". Truck sounds like its running really good...just watch it with the nitrous haha theres good reasons why im not using it on this new motor ive built....

The Zex plate is a wet set up.....and yes,they do have a lot if dry set ups....but they have just as many wet set ups too.
They are really simple to install.

Great job my man.You are about at the limit with that rear.I seen em bust right atthe line with a 12 sec. truck and you have the blazer which is more weight and way quicker...They will greanade bro....good job .

Well....let's just bring this back from the dead.

As I staed in the original post......The rear died a horrible death on the very next run.
But it did live through a ton of 11.7 NA runs with 1.68 60' times....go figure.

Well.....I bought a new house....so it's taken a lil' while to get Barney back on his feet. But here is the new and improved, there is noway in hell it's gonna break with this motor, combo.

Same motor as posted earlier, same 150 shot on the same Zex kit, 9" ford with a Currie 9+ center, 3.70 gears, full spool, 35 spline Moser axels.

6 point cage.....and a diet!

1/8-6.649
MPH-101.51
1/4-10.539
MPH-125.29

ohh....almost forgot.
When the 7.5 let go.......something let go in the 700R4.......we now have a TH350 and a 3500 stall + a new Dennys Drive Shaft(I highly recommend this guy! Awsome to deal with,)

I do drive it on the street, it has tags and insur........and when I lived in Memphis, it passed there b.s. emissions testing(not saying emissions test are B.S., just the way they did it was lame and easy to get around if you know how to tune a carb.)

Mileage.....are you talking about MPG or GPM?

Let's just say....it's not the greatest in that dept.

I had to lift on this run. It's hard to see, but the truck hooked a left and I lifted for a sec.....it ran a 10.74

This is the 10.53 run.
I softend the hit by moving the activation rpm up to 3300 from 2800.
Guess it worked....best run of the night and looks a lot smoother.
