my truck when i bought it i was told it had a 350 in it soo????????
how would i go about finding out exactly what it is as in year and what not its in a 86 s10

a V8 always has 4 plugs on each side 8 total no more no less. if theres not 8 its not a 350 no ifs,ands or buts about it. heres what a 350 looks like....

alot of high end cars like mercedes use 2 per cylinder...mayb they were trying to squeeze all the power out of the 4 banger as much as they could |

lol 2 spark plugs per cylinder . . .sounds like another gimmick to me, I mean if it's F1 derived technology then I'll beleive it, but until I see cars running under 12s running 2 spark plugs, I'm not going to bother.
Kinda like the multi-point plugs . . . |

Nissan also produced a 4 cyl with 8 plugs.
yes my 305 has 8 plugs and they are autolites. so now what. |

I can see the theory behind it but I've never noticed anything with 2 plugs per cylinder running any better.

Um, if I'm not mistaken, I thought the dual plugs burn opposite of each other, one fired during normal combustion and the other during exhaust to help clean emissions and burn unburned fuel. I'm pretty sure the 2.2's employ the same method of firing the spark plugs every stroke. I've seen double spark plugs on a dodge 5.7L.
