Re: Just Another 350 Swap

ya ive talked to a guy he said he will lower it for me and the max he could lower it was 2" and it'll cost under 1000
in the last pic thats with a 2" drop on it.
and yes i already have the color i've already sprayed inside the doors and innner fenders
the color is viper snakeskin green pearl.
normally it comes in i cant remember what they said but some weird paint that only a couple places in town have the equipment to spray it but i got my guy to convert it into a simple base clear paint and it looked amazing on the door jams and inner fenders.
it was actually pretty funny cause i was looking at one of my fenders in the sunlight and a guy across the parking lot came over and had to ask what was the deal with the paint cause its pretty crazy.
oh and the guy that i get my paint from is from du pont.

Re: Just Another 350 Swap

uh cant remember the code i'll check it out the next time i got to the shop
found a wicked page on the color tho pretty neato

http://forums.viperclub.org/srt10-sr...t-oh-yeah.html

and ya the vents are off a trans am i used the T/A factory mounts and everything so the vents look factory on my truck rather than just molding them into the pannel which is much easier but less cool IMO

DUDE thats RAPE! You could go coilovers (front) for that kind of money. Rear is way simple Springs and blocks or for 2 inches just blocks. Seriously do a search and keep some coinage for other parts of your swap.

Re: Just Another 350 Swap

I agree. Check with Beltech. They have lowering keys for the tortion bars and blocks for the back. It's a perfectly safe option, fairly easy to do, and should cost MUCH less than 1G.

+1... You can use a 2 inch block in the rear and prob loosen the torsen bar bolts and get a 2 inch drop all around. That would cost roughly 20 dollars for the blocks. Or you can bring it to me and ill drop the whole truck 2 inches for 500.

Looking good! Surprised no one is hating on lowering the 4x4.. I am lower a 92 2dr 4x4 tahoe and everyone has negative input.

JESUS! your about to get ripped off. all the guy is going to do is uncrank the t-bars up front to lower it 2" which is a free lowering job, and the rear im sure all he is going to do is put 2"-4" blocks under the axle.... how did no one else catch this? $1,000 ? damn. it will cost you under $100 to do this.
