head bolts
i got these arp head bolts but i need to know the torque that they are best set at i have heard 65 and 75 and i have heard 55 and 65 so i am asking you guys what do u say is the best

Um ARP has torque ratings for their bolts depending on the type/material you have.

The bolts should come with an instructions page.
You torque them to the normal torque rating for the engine you're using them on. |

I have bought about four different sets of ARP studs and bolts in the past year and a half.....and NONE have come with a spec sheet.
Really pisses you off to have to go inside and look it up on ARP's site at midnight!!!!!! |

The torque values for the bolts are also different between a cast and alum head to compensate for heat expansion.
